A high performance, high solids, two component topcoat that contains no free isocyanates and meets relevant regulations with its very low VOC content. If the product is used as part of a high-performance corrosion protection system, the service life until the first maintenance can be extended.
Interfine 878 has excellent color retention and gloss retention and is significantly more resistant to yellowing and chalking compared to typical conventional topcoat materials such as polyacrylate and polyisocyanate systems .
With Interfine 878, hard-wearing, flexible and abrasion-resistant top coats can be achieved on properly primed substrates that have good resistance to various chemicals such as acids, alkalis, solvents and salt solutions. The product can be processed by spraying and rolling and is suitable for factory coating of new structures as well as for on-site repair and maintenance work.
